English abstract

For searching scientific literature in natural and biomedicine sciences it is necessary to use all available electronic sources. Internet offers general facts and scientific databases are giving specific data upon request. Users, mainly final year students, M.A. and Ph.D. candidates and other researchers, usually come to the University Library with the data already found on the Internet. Those users are looking for very specific data on expert fields, which can be provided only by specific databases and qualified librarians. Some examples of user requirements and database searches as well as the ways of getting targeted references - both with abstracts or with full text - will be shown in this work.

Za pretraživanje stručne literature iz prirodnih i biomedicinskih nauka potrebno je koristiti sve dostupne elektronske izvore. Internet pruža neke opšte podatke, a specifične baze podataka konkretne podatke na zadati upit. Korisnici, uglavnom, diplomci, magistranti, doktoranti i drugi naučni radnici, dolaze u Univerzitetsku biblioteku najčešće sa podacima već pronađenim na Internetu. Oni traže vrlo specifične podatke iz uskostručnih oblasti koje mogu da im pruže samo specifične baze podataka i stručno osposobljeni bibliotekari. U ovom radu će biti prikazani konkretni zahtevi korisnika i korišćenje baza podataka, kao i ciljano dobijanje referenci ili sa sažetkom ili sa kompletnim tekstom.
