Abstract(s)
Information centers have a vital role in implementing an e-Turkey process. Our country is behind the European Union countries concerning the use of information technologies and keeping track of technological developments. This article will emphasize the use of information technologies in Turkey and its place among the developed countries. The role of information centers in promoting information technologies will be explored.
E-Türkiye sürecinin ülkemizde tam olarak işlemesi ve toplumda yeterince kabul görmesi için bilgi merkezlerine önemli görevler düşmektedir. Ülkemiz bilgi teknolojilerinin kullanımı ve bilgi teknolojilerinin takibi konusunda Avrupa Birliği Ülkelerinin oldukça gerisindedir. Bu makalede Ülkemizin bilgi iletişim teknolojileri kullanımı ve gelişmiş ülkeler arasındaki yeri vurgulanacaktır. Bilgi iletişim teknolojilerinin kullanımının yaygınlaştırılmasında bilgi merkezlerinin rolü incelenmektedir.
