The National Library of China was active in compiling and revising cataloging standards and rules in the past several years, including Chinese Cataloging Rules, CNMMARC Manual (Bibliographical Format), MARC21 Manuals (Bibliographical and Authority Formats), Descriptive Cataloguing Rules for Western Language Materials.

在过去几年中，中国国家图书馆积极从事编目标准和编目规则的编译和修改工作，比如中文著录规则、CNMARC手册、MARC21手册、西文著录规则等方面。
