English abstract

This article summarizes the historical pecedents of the municipal archive of Alicante (Valencian Community-Spain). Also, this article explains the funds, the exihibitions and the types of users of the municiapl archive and of the library of the newspaper library of Alicante.

Aquest article resumeix els antecedents històrics de l'Arxiu Municipal d'Alacant (Comunitat Valenciana-Espanya). També explica breument els fons, les exposicions i els tipus d'usuaris tan de l'arxiu municipal com de la biblioteca i de l'hemeroteca municipal d'Alacant.
