Abstract(s)

Study and critical analysis of how a group of young people uses the Internet to spend their free time in a public library, how they experience, value, and feel it, and what new habits are acquired. It is assumed that the way free time spent in adolescence is used to explore and develop relational, emotional and cognitive abilities, to create and consolidate individual and group forms of identity through processes of socialization which, in great part, take the shape of preparation for a forthcoming adult life.

Estudo e análise críticos de como um grupo de jovens utiliza a Net para passar o seu tempo livre numa biblioteca pública, como o experienciam, valorizam e sentem, que novos hábitos adquirem. Assume-se que a adolescência é um período da vida em que a maneira de passar o tempo livre serve para explorar e desenvolver capacidades relacionais, emocionais, cognitivas, para criar e consolidar formas de identidade individual e grupal em processos de socialização que, em grande parte, tomam a forma de preparação para uma vida adulta próxima.
