English abstract

The Yangze River Delta now enjoys the most prosperous science-economy and the most profound cooperative network of science & technology (CNST)in China. This paper obtains the number of papers published or co-published in Shanghai City, Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province, which are all within the region of the Yangze River Delta, during the years 1994 to 2005 from Chinese Full-text Database, and establishes a dynamic model of regional CNST with the scientific output data obtained above and the scientific input data of the corresponding year.
