English abstract

Update International Catalogue Principles adopted at the first INFLA meeting of experts for preparation of the International Catalogue Rules (Frankfort, 2003), are based on the experience of the catalogue tradition and the conceptual models of the documents the "Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records" (FRBR) and the "Functional Requirements and Numbering of Authority Records" (FRANAR). The paper presents the basic features of the FRBR concept: the goals of the study, the research field, the model methodology and structure.

Serbian abstract

Inovirana međunarodna kataloška načela, usvojena na prvom IFLA-inom sastanku stručnjaka za izradu Međunarodnog kataloškog pravilnika (Frankfurt, 2003), zasnovana su na iskustvima kataloške tradicije i konceptualnim modelima dokumenata Funkcionalni zahtevi za bibliografske zapise (FRBR) i Funkcionalni zahtevi i numerisanje normativnih zapisa (FRANAR). U radu su prikazane osnovne karakteristike koncepta FRBR: ciljevi studije, oblast istraživanja, metodologija i struktura modela.
