English abstract

Community development is one of the most exciting possibilities in public libraries today. This session presents several diverse and successful partnerships and collaborations undertaken by the Trail & District Public Library including projects with literacy associations, private businesses, the Chamber of Commerce, the local community college, arts organizations, schools, and service clubs.
