Abstract(s)
The article is a survey of new academic libraries built between 2000 and 2006. All Italian universities were asked to fill a questionnaire on this topic. A total amount of 66 new or revamped buildings was reported. The article analyses the results of the survey with a great amount of statistical data.
Il testo presenta il risultato di una rilevazione compiuta nel 2006 relativa alle nuove biblioteche costruite nelle università italiane nel periodo gennaio 2000 - marzo 2006. Sono prese in considerazione anche le ristrutturazioni di biblioteche già esistenti e i ricuperi funzionali di edifici precedentemente adibiti a altro uso. Sono pervenute risposte da 23 atenei per un totale di 66 interventi edilizi segnalati. Di questi, 18 sono relativi a nuove edificazioni.
