English abstract

This article tries to contribute to the conscience taking in referring to the conservation and the preservation of the bibliographical collections of one of the greater enemies of books, the fire. We try to contribute to information on the prevention and the last systems existing antifires in the market whose mission is not other than to eradicate one of the greater historical problems of the libraries.

Spanish abstract

Este artículo pretende contribuir a la toma de conciencia en lo referente a la conservación y preservación de las colecciones bibliográficas de uno de los mayores enemigos de los libros, el fuego. Pretende aportar información sobre la prevención y los últimos sistemas antiincendios existentes en el mercado cuya misión no es otra que erradicar uno de los mayores problemas históricos de las bibliotecas.
