English abstract

This report (Technical training and education in Library Science by the University of Nuevo Leon, Nuevo Leon, Mexico) describes the Technical Course in Library Science which took place between the Summers of 1968 and 1970 at the Universidad de Nuevo Leon, now Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, at San Nicolas de los Garza, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. It also describes the foundation, in the first Summer, of the Nuevo Leon state Chapter of the Mexican Library Association. And in 1988, the celebration of the 20th anniversary of such association's chapter.

Spanish abstract

Se describe el Curso Técnico en Bibliotecología celebrado en los veranos de 1968 a 1970 en la Universidad de Nuevo León ahora Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León en San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, México. Así mismo, la creación, en el primer verano, de la Sección Nuevo León de la Asociación Mexicana de Bibliotecarios, Asociación Civil (AMBAC, N.L.). Y, en 1988, la celebración del XX Aniversario de dicha sección.
