English abstract

Peran pustakawan Indonesia di abad elektronik, ini semakin dipertanyakan, terutama apablia tidak bisa menyesuaikan diri, dan mengkatkan kemampuannya sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi. Dengan semakin banyaknya perpustakaan di Indonesia menerapkan TI dan tampil di jaringan Internet, atau mengakses berbagai sumber informasi di jaringan global tersebut dalam rangka melayani kebutuhan informasi penggunanya, maka pustakawan dituntut untuk melek teknologi. Dalam artikel ini dibahas peran pustakawan sebelum dan sesudah era Internet di perpustakaan.
