English abstract

Provides a progress report on the current project to produce a new English-language cataloguing code called Resource Description and Access that will replace Anglo American Cataloguing Rules (2nd ed.). RDA is scheduled for final publication in 2009. Part of the "Beyond Limits : Building Open Access Collections" Preconference sessions of the 2007 British Columbia Library Association Conference entitled "Beyond 20/20 : Envisioning the Future".
