English abstract

The introduction of informational skills in the framework of the higher education should keep in mind all the contexts in which those skills are going to be developed. The figure of the thematic librarian and trainer, should consider the real need of information of the student and to facilitate the integration of the abilities in the use and access to the information in his/her personal cognitive structure. The objective of this article is to present the role of the thematic librarian to train and to teach information skills.

La introducción de competencias informacionales en el marco de la enseñanza superior debe tener en cuenta todos los contextos en los que se precisa poner en marcha dichas competencias. Es, en este entorno, donde la figura del bibliotecario temático y formador debe considerar la necesidad real de información del estudiante y facilitar así la integración de las habilidades en el uso y acceso a la información en su estructura cognitiva personal. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar el rol del bibliotecario temático en la formación en habilidades informacionales.
