English abstract

Web 2.0 and browsers are two very closely connected concepts, as the later are the user agents that are needed to make navigating the former a reality. Within a very short span of time, new versions have been issued of three of the top web browsers: Explorer, Firefox and Opera. In this article we examine and compare the new capabilities and functions of these three browsers in terms of the new web.

Navegadores y la web 2.0 son dos conceptos estrechamente relacionados, ya que estos son agentes necesarios para hacerla una realidad. Dentro de poco tiempo, se han publicado tres nuevas versionesde los principales navegadores web: Explorer, Firefox y Opera. En este artículo se examinan y comparan las nuevas capacidades y funciones de estos tres navegadores en términos de la nueva web.
