Αυτή η έκθεση είναι η ελληνική συμβολή στη «Μελέτη για την αξιολόγηση της κατάστασης των αγορών των υπηρεσιών ηλεκτρονικών πληροφοριών για επαγγελματικούς λόγους στα κράτη μέλη του Ευρωπαϊκού Οικονομικού Χώρου» που προετοιμάστηκε για το έργο MSSTUDY στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος του IMPACT 2, για την Επιτροπή της Γενικής Διεύθυνσης XIII /E της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης - ΙΜΟ (Παρατηρητήριο Αγοράς Πληροφοριών). Για την προετοιμασία της μελέτης χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ερωτηματολόγια, συνεντεύξεις, άρθρα, απογραφές, στατιστικές και η προσωπική γνώση του συντάκτη. Μεταξύ άλλων η έκθεση περιλαμβάνει: ποσοτική ανάλυση της πλευράς της προσφοράς, συνολικά εισοδήματα της αγοράς υπηρεσιών ηλεκτρονικής πληροφόρησης, ανάλυση κόστους, ανθρώπινο δυναμικό, ποιοτικά ζητήματα για την πλευρά προσφοράς, ποσοτική ανάλυση της πλευράς της ζήτησης, πληροφοριακές ανάγκες ανά θεματική περιοχή, εμπόδια στη χρήσης, ποιοτικά ζητήματα για την πλευρά ζήτησης για το έτος 1994.

[English abstract]
This report is the Greek contribution to the “Study for assessing the situation of the markets of electronic information services for professional purposes in the member states of the European Economic Area” which was prepared under the project MSSTUDY in the frame of the IMPACT 2 Programme, for the Commission of the European Union DG XIII/E – IMO (Information Market Observatory). Questionnaires, Interviews, articles, inventories, statistics as well as personal knowledge of the author were used for the preparation of the study. Among others the report includes: quantitative analysis of the supply side, total revenues of Electronic Information Services Market, cost analysis, human resources, qualitative issues for the supply side, quantitative analysis of the demand side, information needs according to subject area, barriers of use, qualitative issues for the demand side for the year 1994.
