English abstract

Joaquín González Moreno (1924-2004) fue un notable archivero de la historia de Sevilla (España). Fue director del archivo de Medinaceli durante cuarenta años además de conservador de la Casa de Pilatos en la que se ubica este archivo, uno de los más importantes de la historia de España. El doctor González Moreno fue también profesor de Paleografía de la Universidad de Sevilla y autor de 40 libros y cientos de artículos en publicaciones periódicas de temas andaluces relacionados con los archivos, bibliotecas, historia del arte, patrimonio histórico y artístico y heráldica.

Spanish abstract

Joaquín González Moreno was a very important archivist in the Seville history (Spain). He worked about forty years in the Medinaceli Archive, one of the most important archive in Spain. This person was one of the most prolific people in this subject and other subjects like library, heraldic, history, arts and journalist. He wrote forty books and thousands journalist articles.
