Abstract

Se pone de manifiesto la formación específica como uno de los ingredientes básicos de la profesión bibliotecaria. Se resalta el papel que la red humana de contactos personales ha desempeñado en el esfuerzo autoformativo de la clase profesional del País Vasco. Y se alaba la formación reglada estructurada. Frente al desconocimiento en el medio social se destaca el rol a jugar en la intermediación del conocimiento de acuerdo con los objetivos de la organización a la que se sirve. Finalmente se presenta la biblioteca digital de Osakidetza.

[English abstract]

Specific training is presented as one of the basic ingredients in librarianship. The role that the net of personal contacts has played in the effort for self-
training among the Basque Country librarians is underlined. Structured regulated training is praised and in contrast to the lack of knowledge in the social environment the role to play in the dealing of knowledge according to the targets set by the organisation is stressed. Finally Osakidetza's virtual library is presented.
