English abstract

In this article the emergence of the subject and institions based open access repositories and their impact on the scientific community is described.

Kurumsal arşivler üniversite ve araştırma kurumlarının entellektüel ürünlerinin sayısal ortamda saklandığı, diğer kurumların ve kullanıcıların kolaylıkla erişebildikleri, tüm dünyada hızla yayılmakta olan yeni bir oluşumdur. Bu makalede kurumsal arşivlerin kurulma gerekçeleri, bu konuda dünyanın çeşitli üniversitelerindeki projeler ve ilgili gelişmeler anlatılmaktadır.
