Abstract
[Spanish abstract]El objetivo de esta presentación es, por un lado, dar una visión global del estado actual de la comunicación científica, focalizando en el desarrollo del movimiento open access junto con el análisis del conocimiento, participación y actitudes de los investigadores con respecto al mismo.
El movimiento de acceso abierto ha experimentado un crecimiento enorme, en estos últimos años, difundiendose la idea de acceso abierto a publicaciones científicas en forma más amplia, apoyado en un incremento en el número de proyectos e iniciativas financiados con fondos públicos vinculados con el tema.

The aim of this presentation is, on the one hand, to give a global vision of the current state of the scholarly communication, with particular emphasis in the development of the open accessmovement together with the analysis of the knowledge, participation and attitudes of the investigators with regard to the same one.
The open access movement has experienced an enormous growth, in the latter years, spreading the idea of access opened for scientific publications in more wide form, supported on an increase in the number of projects and initiatives financed with public funds linked with the topic.
