Η παρούσα εργασία αναφέρεται στην ανάπτυξη του Κέντρου Διαχείρισης Ιατρικής Πληροφορίας (ΚΕΔΙΠ) που υλοποιήθηκε στο Τμήμα Ιατρικής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης με τη χρηματοδότηση του Υπουργείου Παιδείας, στο πλαίσιο του Επιχειρησιακού Προγράμματος Εκπαίδευσης και Αρχικής Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης (Α’ ΕΠΕΑΕΚ). Το ΚΕΔΙΠ αναπτύχθηκε προκειμένου να βελτιστοποιηθούν οι εκπαιδευτικές διαδικασίες τόσο των προπτυχιακών όσο και των μεταπτυχιακών μαθημάτων του Ιατρικού Τμήματος, κάνοντας χρήση της πλέον σύγχρονης τεχνολογίας, και της δυνατότητας ανάπτυξης και εφαρμογής εκπαιδευτικών “εργαλείων”, όπως και σύγχρονων εποπτικών μέσων διδασκαλίας. Το ΚΕΔΙΠ ως σύστημα, περιλαμβάνει μια σειρά από οντότητες (υποσυστήματα) που χωρίζονται σε τρεις μεγάλες κατηγορίες: το υποσύστημα διαχείρισης της πληροφορίας, το υποσύστημα επικοινωνίας, και τέλος το υποσύστημα υποστήριξης της εκπαίδευσης. Στην εργασία αυτή αναφερόμαστε στο σκοπό της ίδρυσης του Κέντρου, στις ιδέες και μεθοδολογίες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν στην ανάλυση, στο σχεδιασμό και την ανάπτυξη του, και τέλος στην προσπάθεια αξιολόγησης του, με βάση σύγχρονα και διεθνώς πιστοποιημένα μέτρα και κριτήρια. Η αξιολόγηση των αποτελεσμάτων από την ως τώρα χρήση και λειτουργία του ΚΕΔΙΠ δείχνει πως πληροί όλες τις προϋποθέσεις ώστε να συμβάλλει αποφασιστικά στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία.
[English Abstract]
The development of the Centre for the Management of Medical Information (KEDIP - from the Greek initials) was financed by the Greek Ministry of Education, under the EPEAEK initiative and it was pursued in order to put an end to the fragmented academic environment, from the point of view of the access to international sources of Medical Information that concerns both students and educators. Some of the major aim points of KEDIP include the quality improvement of the educational process with the use of modern technology, the development and application of educational tools, as well as, contemporary visualisation media. Significance was paid to the fact that the INTERNET platform should form the basis for structuring and developing the services and all the associated applications under the use of internationally validated and certified technologies. As a system, KEDIP includes three entities/subsystems: the health information management subsystem, the communication subsystem, the finally, the subsystem for the support of the educational process. In this piece of work, we refer to the general ideas and methodologies that have been followed during the analysis, design, implementation and finally evaluation of the project. The results from the evaluation procedure indicate that the Centre is well capable of advancing the modern educational process.
