Abstract

[English abstract] We present the project of conversion to online of the training activities about informational skills (HI), carried out by the Library and Document Services of the Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC). The implementation of this project has allowed:
a) to convert to online training activities already provided on-site,
b) to develop educational materials "InForma't" and to adapt them to the new online learning environment of the UPC,
c) to conduct a test pilot in order to validate the quality of the final product,
d) to adapt the online project to the different activities on HI.
The new teaching materials "InForma't" can be accessed through the platform Atenea, that provides advantages both for the students and the trainers, and has as its ultimate goal to train students to properly find, use, communicate and evaluate specialized information.
[Spanish abstract] Se presenta el proyecto de virtualización de las actividades formativas para la adquisición de las habilidades informacionales (HI), impulsado por el Servicio de Bibliotecas y Documentación (SBD) de la UPC.
La ejecución de dicho proyecto ha permitido: a) virtualizar una actividad que ya se impartía presencialmente, b) elaborar el material didáctico InForma’t y su adaptación al nuevo entorno virtual de aprendizaje de la UPC, c) realizar una prueba piloto que ha permitido validar la calidad del producto final, d) adaptar el proyecto de virtualización a las diferentes actividades en HI.
El nuevo material didáctico InForma’t, diseñado y accesible a través de la plataforma docente Atenea, aprovecha las ventajas que la virtualidad comporta tanto para el alumno como para el formador, y tiene como objetivo último capacitar a los estudiantes para buscar, usar, comunicar y evaluar la información especializada de forma adecuada.
