Abstract
[Spanish abstract] Proponerse hablar de la estructura y forma que presentará la profesión de los que tratan con la información, en algunas de sus formas, allá para los años 2000, supone aceptar un buen reto. La Humanidad, como ente social, se encuentra en un momento histórico importante, es un momento, mejor diríamos período, de transmutación, y aunque presumamos poder predecir cómo caminará la evolución hacia el futuro corremos el riesgo de equivocarnos. Cualquier invento o descubrimiento imprevisible puede hacer cambiar completamente las previsiones previstas.
