RedIris es la red que subvencionada por el Plan Nacional de I+D y gestionada desde 1994 por el Csic, proporciona servicios teleinformáticos a las instituciones académicas y de investigación españolas, tanto dentro de España como hacia y desde Internet. La redacción de IWE ha realizado un verdadero asalto para robar unos minutos a Víctor Castelo, su director, cuya actividad, junto a la de sus colaboradores, es realmente frenética.

RedIris is a network funded by the Spanish National Plan for R & D and managed since 1994 by Csic (High Scientific Research Council), that provides telecom services to Spanish academic and research institutions, both within Spain and to and from the Internet. The IWE team has made a real assault to steal a few minutes to Victor Castelo, its director, whose work, along with that of his collaborators, is really frantic.
