English abstract

The current problem of the presence of sanitary webs is analyzed directed to citizens without a scientific minimum rigor and reliability in its contents, and as the creation and the development of filtrate tools can help to pay this problem. The project "LIS Spain is described: healthy places. Information to the citizen", source that selects and it diffuses pages sanitary web of quality directed to patient, family and public in general. Their objectives are detailed, characteristic, approaches for the webs evaluation, registration of the selected sources, content and covering of the resources that it gathers, forms of recovery of the information, evaluation of the project and future activities to develop. It also includes, the main advantages that are derived of the participation of professionals of the information in the development and maintenance of these tools, in front of the tasks that you/they carry out the traditional search engines.

Spanish abstract

Se analiza la problemática actual de la presencia de webs sanitarias dirigidas a ciudadanos sin un mínimo rigor científico y fiabilidad en sus contenidos, y como la creación y el desarrollo de herramientas de filtrado puede ayudar a solventar este problema. Se describe el proyecto “LIS España: sitios saludables – Información al ciudadano”, fuente que selecciona y difunde páginas web sanitarias de calidad dirigidas a pacientes, familiares y público en general. Se detallan sus objetivos, características, criterios para la evaluación de webs, registro de las fuentes seleccionadas, contenido y cobertura de los recursos que reúne, formas de recuperación de la información, evaluación del proyecto y actividades futuras a desarrollar. Incluye además, las principales ventajas que se derivan de la participación de profesionales de la información en el desarrollo y mantenimiento de estas herramientas, frente a las tareas que realizan los motores de búsqueda tradicionales.
