English abstract

The presentation deals about the matter of the digital preservation and raising the awareness about it. It presents a series of initiatives to create a cooperation and dissemination network for the digital preservation, and goes on suggesting important subjects such as the professional training, the coordination of the activities on the repositories with the help of DRAMBORA, a self-audit tool (Digital Repositories Audit Method Based on Risk Assessment), the integration between industry and research, the preservation research roadmap and cooperation projects, all included into an European setting.

La presentazione affronta il tema della conservazione del digitale e della sensibilizzazione a riguardo. Vengono presentate una serie di iniziative volte alla creazione di una rete per la cooperazione e la disseminazione di risultati, ricerche ed esperienze, e si prosegue puntando sulla necessità di stimolare la diffusione di servizi per la conservazione dei contenuti digitali, di sviluppare la formazione e lo sviluppo professionale, di coordinare le attività sui repositories grazie a DRAMBORA, self-audit tool, di favorire l’integrazione tra ricerca e industria, di tenere ben presente la Preservation Research Roadmap e i vari progetti di cooperazione, il tutto inserito in un contesto europeo.
