English abstract

Although there has been talk frequently of the Information Science, yet there is a small group certainly not know what their area or referred to specifically. At first there was talk only of Information Science, and is still doing to simplifity language, but after this term is too broad because if Information Science,mean set of documents ready for use. In seeking something more concrete on the first meaning that he had been given the floor Information Science was thought of its contents, methods, applications, etc.., And so did the Information Science term which refers not only to the type of documents in our case scientists, but also the scientific methods of extracting the information contained therein and dissemination of this information.

Aunque se viene hablando con frecuencia de la Documentación Científica, aún existe un grupo po pequeño que no sabe Con certeza cuál es su ámbito ni a que se refiere concretamente. En un principio se habló solamente de Documentación, y aún se sigue haciendo para simplificor el lenguaje; mas este término resulta después demasiado general porque Documentación en si, significa conjunto de documentos dispuestos para su utilización. Al querer concretar algo más sobre el primer significado que se le había dado a la palabra Documentación se pensó en sus contenidos, métodos, aplicaciones, etc., y así surgió el término Documentación Científica que hace referencia no solo al tipo de documentos en nuestro caso científicos, sino también a los métodos científicos de extraer la Infarmación en ellos contenida y lo difusión de esta Información.
