English abstract

The audit of information is a critical and systematic exam of the resources of information that allows us to know, with what is counted, where it is and its value. They are diverse the authors that treat the audit topic in their works, coinciding in that the same one is one practices habitual in the countries with a high one level of economic development and for this reason different tendencies exist toward a work methodology with different focuses. The present work he/she has as objective to describe the audit of partial information that was carried out in the Historical File of Camagüey, to Jorge's personal bottom Gray-headed Juárez, for that which took in consideration the approaches given by Cristina Soy. As result you could identify and to categorize the resources of information in the bottom I object of study as well as to verify that the information auditada possesses great historical value.

Spanish abstract

La auditoria de información es un examen crítico y sistemático de los recursos de información que nos permite conocer, con lo que se cuenta, dónde está y su valor. Son diversos los autores que tratan el tema de auditoria en sus trabajos, coincidiendo en que la misma es una practica habitual en los países con un alto nivel de desarrollo económico y por este motivo existen diferentes tendencias hacia una metodología de trabajo con diferentes enfoques. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo describir la auditoría de información parcial que se realizó en el Archivo Histórico de Camagüey, al fondo personal de Jorge Juárez Cano, para lo cual se tomó en consideración los criterios dados por Cristina Soy .Como resultado se pudo identificar y categorizar los recursos de información en el fondo objeto de estudio así como constatar que la información auditada posee gran valor histórico.
