English abstract

Compilation of e-mails commenting the library exhibition Documat 4, in Gijón, Spain, in 1994. Article written in 1994, a time when the e-mail and the e-lists were still a novelty. Currently, in 2008, 14 years later, when writing this summary, the kind of messages that are reproduced in the article would be almost considered spam. The list IweTel had been launched the previous year, and all the messages were valid as long as this implied some activity.

Compilación de algunos e-mails comentando la feria Documat 4, en Gijón, España, en 1994. Artículo de 1994, de una época cuando el correo electrónico y las listas todavía eran una novedad. Actualmente, en 2008, 14 años más tarde, cuando escribimos este resumen, el tipo de mensaje que se reproduce en el artículo casi sería considerado spam. La lista IweTel se había puesto en marcha el año anterior, y todos los mensajes eran válidos con tal de que hubiera actividad.
