Session summary: Brainstorming, problem-solving, team-building and group communication – all of these things can be made easier through facilitation! Come to this fun, interactive workshop to learn techniques and exercises to boost your group meetings. Taught by two information professionals with formal facilitation training and experience, this workshop will give you theory, hands-on practice time and feedback. What participants will learn: Participants will learn techniques to help groups begin working together, exercises for brainstorming and problem-solving, and tips on how to make their workshops run smoothly. This participatory workshop will give attendees the opportunity to try their hand at facilitation in a supportive environment. Audience: Public library staff, academic library staff, special library staff, managers, trustees, project managers, team leaders
