English abstract

In the present work there are approached the possibilities that are opened to research and the innovation in the special collections guarded by Patrimonio Cultural of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. From the traditional documentary research up to the modeling of three-dimensional objects, happening through diverse forms of academic use of these heaps, is that a different vision from the special collections considers, alternates and complementary to the conservative traditional vision.

Spanish abstract

En el presente trabajo se abordan las posibilidades que se abren a la investigación y la innovación en las colecciones especiales custodiadas por Patrimonio Cultural del Tecnológico de Monterrey. Desde la tradicional investigación documental hasta la modelación de objetos tridimensionales, pasando por diversas formas de uso académico de dichos acervos, es que se plantea una visión distinta de la colección especial, alterna y complementaria a la tradicional visión conservacionista.
