English abstract

A proposal for benchmarks and indicators that could be used to analyze television stations web sites is presented. On the one side they are obviously indicators that could be used to evaluate any other websites, but on the other side specific indicators for television sites are proposed. Therefore, what follows is a list of common parameters to various types of web sites and specific parameters for television sites. We started with the general methodology of analysis and evaluation of one of the authors (L. Codina) and its proposed development of benchmarks and indicators for evaluation. From here, two of the authors (L. Aubin and N. Sánchez) studied television sites, and from it determined parameters (and their specific indicators) for the analysis of this kind of sites. The initial list was refined and articulated in a research seminar session (coordinated by L. Codina) on digital information held in the PhD programme of the Department of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at the UPF. The original version is from 2002-2003, but the present version was revised and updated in February 2008.

Se presenta una propuesta de parámetros e indicadores que podrían utilizarse para analizar sitios web de televisiones que, por un lado obviamente son sitios web como tantos otros pero a la vez son sitios específicos de un sector específico, a saber, la televisión. Por tanto, lo que sigue es una lista de parámetros comunes a diversos tipos de sitios web y de parámetros específicos para sitios de televisión. Se partió de la metodología general de análisis y evaluación de uno de los autores (L. Codina) así como de su propuesta de desarrollo de parámetros e indicadores de evaluación. A partir de aquí, dos de los autores (L. Aubia y N. Sánchez) desarrollaron una labor de estudio de sitios de televisión que les permitió determinar parámetros (y sus correspondientes indicadores específicos) para el análisis de esta clase de sitios. La lista inicial se depuró y se articuló en sesiones del seminario de investigación (coordinado por L. Codina) sobre documentación digital organizado en el Programa de doctorado del Departamento de Periodismo y de Comunicación Audiovisual de la UPF. La versión original es del bienio 2002-2003. La presente versión ha sido revisada y actualizada en febrero del 2008.
