English abstract

United States authorized information sources employed in universitary results evaluation are used in Spain as a current normative methodology. The Research Divisions and the Research Results Transfer Offices (OTRI) statistics provide a link R&D expenses-scientific publications productivity. That makes sense of the University-Firm relationship. Research evaluation has changed since citation analysis is at work. Spanish experience was controversial, after the National Commission for University Evaluation fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education in 1990. As a case study, the Department of Economic Analysis, Valencia (Spain), research results are scrutinised through the Social Science Citation Index.

La práctica de normalización de la metodología empleada en la evaluación de resultados universitarios en España recurre a autorizadas fuentes de información de los USA. La producción de resultados de la actividad investigadora por parte de Vicerrectorados de investigación y oficinas de transferencia de resultados de investigación ofrece la oportunidad de examinar la correspondencia gastos en 1 + D, producción de publicaciones científicas, y de plantear la relación universidad-empresa con criterios de reflexividad propios del método documental. La evaluación de la investigación ha cambiado desde que existe el análisis de citas, siendo la experiencia española de la Comisión Nacional de Evaluación, a raíz de la Orden Ministerial del 5 de febrero de 1990, materia de una controversia científica. A través del Social Science Citation índex examinamos el caso de los resultados de investigación del Departamento de Análisis Económico de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad de Valencia.
