English abstract

Model Programme for Public Libraries, launched and funded by the Danish Agency for Culture and Realdania, offers an interactive, web-based inspiration catalogue and tools that are to communicate new knowledge, best practise and inspiration for brand new space and function interplay for library developers. This article highlights new findings and proposals in the area of functional interiors libraries (including examples of good practice) and compare the danish programme with the Concept of Czech Libraries Development in the years 2011–2015.

Projekt Dánské agentury pro kulturu a soukromé dobročinné společnosti Realdania s názvem Modelový program pro veřejné knihovny (volně dostupný v angličtině jako Model Programme for Public Libraries) představuje interaktivní webový katalog, přehled podnětů, nápadů a nástrojů pro budování moderních veřejných knihoven. Přináší zejména nové poznatky a návrhy v oblasti tvorby funkční interiérů knihoven (včetně příkladů dobré praxe).
