English abstract

Literature on Internet published by "Le Monde Diplomatique", along 1994-95, targets international organisms, and can be read as a scientific narrative. The exploration of the scientific concepts which are trafficked concerns a temporal dimension entailing the formation of opìnion and the effect of the demands of knowledge formulated. These facts can be observed through bibliometrics tools like the bibliographic coupling analysis and the context analysis. By creating a database using the Procite software with the bibliographic references made from the articles in this foreign affairs journal about Internet, in the period 1994-1995, we established a similarity criteria on the base of which understand the literature, ie the occurrence of identical references. This gives us a communication system inside the literature which is not explicitly stated without making use of this technique. Within each reference context we analyze which, how, when and where the emphasis is effectuated in terms of knowledge. We note that the civil society and democracy problems, and those of the competivity and the global economy appear in the foreground. Information industry mega fusions, 1995 G-7 Information Society Conference, the use of internet by progressist associations, and a perspective of the economy of ruin characteristic of the progress made without the people, are ideas given to stimulate thoughts that can be reached through the use of literacy skills focused on this specialized press of a largely political nature.
