English abstract

As a culmination of the seminar "Management and dissemination of scientific journals: contributions from the Librarianship and Information Sciences ”of the National University of La Plata, we proposed by teachers Cecilia Rozemblum and Carolina Unzunrruzaga, three types of work as accreditation of the knowledge of the chair. I chose a critical essay on E-LIS, the international self-archiving library and information science repository. E- LIS is, personally, a "friendly" and democratic repository, since it allows both accredited and recognized researchers and any librarian to carry out research work or develop a topic that is interesting to you share with the library community, upload a document and make it accessible opened. Search and recovery are also effective
