English abstract

The legislative decree 169/99, which acknowledges the European directive 9/96, edits some parts of the law on author rights (n. 633, 22nd April 1941). The new law (n. 248, 18th August 2000) doesn’t modify anything concerning with database as it only reconfirms the legislative decree 169/99 as far as the penal aspects are concerned. Il Decreto Legislativo 169/99 recepisce la Direttiva comunitaria europea 9/96, andando a modificare alcuni articoli della Legge 22 aprile 1941 n. 633 sul diritto d'autore. La nuova Legge n. 248 del 18 agosto 2000 nulla muta in materia di banche dati, in quanto interviene solo a riconfermare quanto stabilito con il DLgs 169/99 e solo in relazione agli aspetti sanzionatori di tipo penale.
