English abstract

The purpose of this article is to review the history of the Comprehensive Program of School and Specialized Libraries of the Buenos Aires Education System, which has been carried out within the framework of the Center for Educational Documentation and Information (CENDIE) and also to recognize its members who, throughout the years and the different periods it went through, enriched and defended it so that it became a sustainable and necessary policy.

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo recuperar la historia del Programa Integral de Bibliotecas Escolares y Especializadas del Sistema Educativo bonaerense, que se viene llevando adelante en el marco del Centro de Documentación e Información Educativa (CENDIE) y además, realizar un reconocimiento a sus integrantes que, a lo largo de los años y los distintos períodos por los que atravesó, lo enriqueció y defendió para que se convirtiera en una política sostenible y necesaria.
