English abstract

Main aspects of the use of academic databases and generative artificial intelligences in academic work under the lens of ethics and critical thinking. Review of how to use Scopus and Web of Science. Discussion of intervention points (loci) for databases and artificial intelligence systems: introduction, theoretical framework, state of the art, methodological framework, and discussion. Review of six key aspects of working with artificial intelligence systems: sources, attribution, verification, linking, search spaces, and privacy. Presentation of the main phases and procedures for using generative artificial intelligences in academic work. Characteristics of AI systems for academic use. The problem of attribution as a new source of plagiarism, whether voluntary or involuntary. Evaluation: variables, phases, and procedures.

Aspectos principales en el uso de bases de datos académicas y de inteligencias artificiales generativas en trabajos académicos bajo la luz de la ética y el pensamiento crítico. Revisión de la forma de utilizar Scopus y Web ofScience. Discusión de los puntos de intervención (loci) de las bases de datos y de los sistemas de inteligencia artificial: introducción, marco teórico, estado de la cuestión, marco metodológico y discusión. Revisión de seis puntos principales de trabajo con sistemas de inteligencia artificial: fuentes, atribución, verificación, vinculación, espacios de búsqueda, privacidad. Presentación de las fases y los procedimientos principales del uso de inteligencias artificiales generativas para trabajos académicos. Características de los sistemas de IA para uso académico. El problema de la atribución como nueva fuente de plagio, voluntario o involuntario. Evaluación: variables, fases y procedimientos.
