English abstract
The text points out that the current legislation in Spain is insufficient for the integral protection of the cinematic heritage and that only a film law with an intangible cultural heritage approach could successfully safeguard the "ritual" and "living experience" of cinema, as a human and artistic phenomenon. It is distinguished between the artifact and the building, currently contemplated, and the “ritual”, which would be the great legal challenge that the regulations must address from precedents already established as the Law of safeguarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage. A comparison is made with Holy Week to justify its protection as an immaterial cultural phenomenon.

El texto señala que la legislación actual en España resulta insuficiente para la protección integral del patrimonio cinematográfico y que solo una ley de cine con enfoque de patrimonio cultural inmaterial podría salvaguardar con éxito el "ritual" y la "experiencia viva" del cine, como fenómeno humano y artístico. Se distingue entre el artefacto y el edificio, contemplados actualmente, y el “ritual”, que sería el gran reto legal que debe abordar la normativa a partir de precedentes ya establecidos como la Ley de salvaguarda del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial. Se realiza una comparativa con la Semana Santa para justificar su protección como fenómeno cultural inmaterial.
