English abstract

This Open Educational Resource (OER) was developed within the framework of the GEDIS – Gender Diversity in Information Science project. It presents the phases of information behavior in teaching practice: identifying an information need, searching for it, evaluating it, using it, and sharing it. It also highlights the factors influencing the process (time, digital competences, teaching context, and motivation) and its importance for teachers: improving teaching quality, promoting autonomous learning, enabling misinformation detection, and strengthening students’ information literacy.

Bosnian abstract

Ovaj otvoreni obrazovni resurs (OER) nastao je u okviru projekta GEDIS – Gender Diversity in Information Science. Prikazuje faze informacionog ponašanja u nastavnoj praksi: identificirati informacijsku potrebu, pretraživati informacije, vrednovati dobivene informacije, iskoristiti ih i podijeliti sa drugima. Također naglašava faktore koji imaju utjecaj na proces (vrijeme, digitalne kompetencije, nastavni kontekst i motivacija), kao i značaj za nastavnike/ce: poboljšanje kvalitete nastave, poticanje samostalnog učenja, otkrivanje dezinformacija i jačanje informacijske pismenosti studenata/tica.
