Abstract(s)
An overview of a part of the relevant literature about the library work evaluation is given as well as an attempt to make a synthesis of foreign experiences in the field. The topics discussed at two workshops with subjects "evaluation of libraries" and "measurement of library performance" are presented in detail. The most-used performance indicators are analyzed in order to calculate them with the use of existing data in Serbia and recommendations are made for data that should be collected in the future.
U članku je dat pregled dela relevantne literature o vrednovanju bibliotečkog poslovanja i pokušaj sinteze stranih iskustava u toj oblasti. Detaljno su prikazana saznanja prikupljena na dve radionice — sa temama "evaluacija biblioteka" i "merenje uspešnosti biblioteka". Analizirani su pokazatelji uspešnosti uobičajeni u svetu i ispitivane su mogućnosti korišćenja postojećih podataka za biblioteke u Srbiji za izračunavanje pokazatelja. Date su preporuke koje podatke bi trebalo ubuduće obavezno prikupljati.
