English abstract

The present situation of library automation in Andalusia through the collective licensing held by this region’s authorities is described. Also, the types of institutions where the Absys library programme has been implemented, the number of municipal public libraries making use of this license and the present situation of the municipal network within each provincial capital are studied province by province.

Situación actual de la automatización en Andalucía a través de la Licencia Corporativa de la Junta, analizando, a nivel provincial, los tipos de centros andaluces en que se ha implantado el programa Absys, el número de Bibliotecas Públicas Municipales acogidas a la utilización del programa, y el estado en que se encuentran las redes municipales dentro de las capitales de provincias.
