English abstract

Paper which has as object to transmit the experience about the conformation of a hemispherical network of specialized information, particularly the activities held at national level. In the first part it describes the main characteristics of the system and then states advantages, challenges, compromises and difficulties, that presents the fact of being part of a cooperative project, but also the importance of the communication within the network and outside of it , and the projection of SIDALC. To describe the system, it was taken the information available at the site and other methodological documents.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo trasmitir la experiencia de la conformación de una red hemisférica de información especializada, particularmente en las actividades realizadas a nivel nacional. En una primer parte se describen las características principales del sistema implementado y luego se plantean ventajas, desafíos, compromisos y dificultades que nos presenta el hecho de formar parte de un proyecto cooperativo, así como la importancia de la comunicación entre las partes y hacia el afuera y la proyección de la red SIDALC. Para la descripción del sistema se tomó como base la información que está disponible en el sitio de internet y otros documentos metodológicos.
