English abstract

The aim of this work is to offer a panorama of the current situation of the access to the primary document in the Libraries of Science in Argentina. There are described the methodologies and the most frequent problems in the libraries of different level of development to obtain the document. In a wide context appears the situation of the Information Policy in the Technological Scientist area, and on the other hand the actions and / or recent projects that have facilitated the access to the information, such as the Net of University Interconnection and the Program called Fund for the Improvement the University Quality. Finally some offers are realized to facilitate the access to the information, increased the degree of satisfaction of the users and minimizing the costs by cooperative activities.

Spanish abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer un panorama de la situación actual del acceso al documento primario en las Bibliotecas de Ciencia en Argentina. Se describen las metodologías usadas y los problemas más frecuentes en las bibliotecas de distinto nivel de desarrollo para obtener el documento. En un contexto más amplio se presenta la situación de la Política de Información en el área Científico Tecnológico y se señalan por otra parte las acciones y/o proyectos recientes que han facilitado el acceso a la información, tales como la Red de Interconexión Universitaria y el Programa FOMEC. Por último se realizan algunas propuestas para facilitar el acceso a la información, aumentado el grado de satisfacción de los usuarios y minimizando los costos por medio de actividades cooperativas.
