English abstract

This paper tries to show news trends in academic library services under the concepts of library 2.0. This model is focuses in user centred and it uses some tools in order to deliver more efficient services. The librarians who conceive, implement and use those tools are librarians 2.0, always alerts to the changes to improve the quality of the services they are delivering. This paper revise the strategic lines that library of the University of Seville is implementing in this year 2007 with the main goal to be closer to the library 2.0.

Esta comunicación pretende sintetizar algunas de las tendencias que bajo la filosofía “Library 2.0” están inspirando los nuevos servicios de apoyo al aprendizaje, la docencia y la investigación que se ofertan en las bibliotecas universitarias y responden a un modelo de servicio centrado en el usuario y una forma más eficiente de suministrarlos. Quienes las llevan a cabo son los bibliotecarios 2.0, siempre alertas a los cambios que se avecinen en beneficio de la calidad global de los servicios que ofrecen. Se hace un breve recorrido por aquellas actuaciones que la BUS proyecta incluir dentro de sus objetivos operacionales de 2007 basadas en la implementación de estas herramientas y utilidades de la “library 2.0” en el servicio de apoyo a la docencia y la investigación.
