English abstract

This paper presents the role of subject gateways in information transfer to scientific environment. The main aim of those services is effective dissemination of information about selected Internet resources to specified group of users. There is described Intute - the network which is merging several subject gateways. The main object of this network (founded in 2006) is to provide a trusted source of selected, high quality Internet resources to higher education community. The information management in this network is based on methods and tools elaborated by its participants. Applying them was the main goal of reaching the organizational, technical and metadata compatibility.

W referacie przedstawiono rolę, jaką odgrywają dziedzinowe systemy hipertekstowe w transferze informacji do sektora nauki. Podstawowym zadaniem systemów jest efektywne udostępnianie informacji o wyselekcjonowanych zasobach Internetu grupie użytkowników docelowych. Scharakteryzowano funkcjonowanie europejskiej sieci Intue (www.intute.ac.uk), która zrzesza systemy hipertekstowe udostępniające informacje o wyselekcjonowanych zasobach Internetu z różnych dziedzin wiedzy. Celem powstałej w 2006 roku sieci, jest udostępnianie efektywnych źródeł informacji o zasobach internetowych, które mogą być wykorzystywane w procesie kształcenia na poziomie wyższym. Zarządzanie informacją w sieci oparte jest na wypracowanych przez uczestników projektu metodach i narzędziach. Celem ich wdrożenia było osiągnięcie spójności na płaszczyźnie organizacyjnej, technicznej oraz w procesie wymiany metadanych.
