Autor objašnjava principe i definiše pojmove i značaj aktivnosti na izgradnji otvorenih arhiva digitalnih dokumenata. Naglašena je velika uloga bibliotekara naučnih biblioteka u izgradnji digitalnih repozitorija.

The principles of the activities and main concepts for implementation of the open archives for digital documents are presented and defined. The importance of the role of the librarians from the scientific libraries in the digital repository development is stressed.
