The Learning Materials Repository of the UPC (UPCOpenCourseWare) aims to offer to the university community an specialized digital library on learning materials generated by teachers, students and others of the UPC through their academic activities. The specific aims are:
• To offer access and increase the use of the academic materials.
• To offer tools to edit, depot, manage and reuse the academic materials for the authors.
• To protect the intellectual work and the author rights, increasing the visibility and accessibility.
• To grant a long term preservation of the materials.
• To improve the quality of the learning materials.

El Repositorio de Materiales Docentes (UPCOpenCourseware) tiene como misión ofrecer a la comunidad universitaria una biblioteca digital especializada en materiales docentes generados por los profesores y los estudiantes de la UPC en sus actividades docentes. Sus objetivos son:
• Facilitar el acceso e incrementar el uso de los materiales docentes elaborados.
• Ofrecer a los autores herramientas para editar, depositar, gestionar y reutilizar los materiales docentes.
• Asegurar la propiedad intelectual y el reconocimiento de los autores, aumentando al mismo tiempo su visibilidad y accesibilidad mediante Internet.
• Recoger, clasificar y garantizar la preservación de los materiales docentes elaborados en la UPC a lo largo del tiempo.
• Mejorar la innovación docente y el aprendizaje en la UPC mediante las TIC.
