English abstract

This conference paper (Trust within social networking sites) examines the impact of the size of a network of Facebook users (ie. social networking site with reciprocal links within the network) to the extent of openness or closure of their profile. The text presents research findings and the basis for determining of tested hypothesis. According to which larger network should correspond with the greater openness of the user.

Czech abstract

Tento příspěvek zkoumá vliv velikosti sítě přátel uživatelů Facebooku (tedy sítě se vzájemnými vazbami uživatelů) na mír otevřenosti či uzavřenosti jejich profilu. Text představuje závěry výzkumu i východiska pro stanovení testované hypotézy, podle níž by větší síť měla korespondovat s větší otevřeností uživatele.
